Call for Nominations: 2015-16 HASTAC Scholars

IDRH will provide a $300 stipend to up to three KU students (graduate students or high-level undergraduates) to participate in the HASTAC Scholars program for the 2015-16 academic year. The students participate in discussion forums on the HASTAC website, report on digital scholarship activities at KU, and share their own research and interests with the wider HASTAC community. We will also ask HASTAC Scholars to present at a panel session at KU about their work, and to take part in various digital humanities events during the year.

To apply students should send the following to by Monday, August 24:

  • Name
  • Status in your academic program
  • Primary Department
  • Link to your website if you have one
  • Three keywords of main interest
  • Have you been a HASTAC Scholar before (Y/N)

A short bio (no more than 250 words) that mentions research projects and interests (including dissertation if applicable), HASTAC-related interests and work, and any projects that you might like to pursue as a HASTAC Scholar.

Should we approve their application, they will need to create a profile on the HASTAC website and submit their application form to HASTAC via the website <> by Tuesday, September 1.
